Obviously, +5 for Trump isn't great for Biden. But somebody on Twitter pointed out that the survey was only conducted in English, and it showed Biden ahead just 55-38 among Latinos. While I'm usually not the type to nitpick the methodology of a B-grade pollster, I'll admit that administering an English only poll in Texas seems a bit strange to me. Did some casual research on Arizona and Texas polling, and it does look like that Biden does much better among latinos in bilingual polls (Siena, Monmouth, University of Texas at Tyler), which are usually much closer to 65-28 in favor of Biden. YouGov's earlier Arizona poll also showed Biden ahead just 61-33 among Latinos, not as extreme as 55-38 but still an outlier compared to bilingual pollsters.
But I've never been to the southwest; not sure how many Hispanic households would ignore an English survey. Curious if others think this is a problem.
