Yougov is a survey site with often political or news related surveys, and are relatively short ranging from around 2-15 minutes and points ranging from 10-50 per survey. The minimum payout is £50 (5000 points) and it does take quite a while to reach that, I have 3590 points after using it pretty regularly since April/May.
However, it does not take a lot of free time like other survey sites would, surveys come often once or twice a day and there is almost no chance of screening out (has happened a few times for speeding out of 100s of surveys). It's more of a thing to do on the side, slowly building up the points until the cashout threshold. It's available for UK and US users, and can pay out via Paypal/BACS. It is definitely a reliable site as Yougov is a large and well known international Internet based market research and data analytics company.
There are quite a few surveys at the moment due to the upcoming election, so its a good time to bank a few points!
